The Police Synchronicity Red Wine
2013 The Police Synchronicity Red Wine Blend

Synchronicity – noun – syn-chro-nic-i-ty

Synchronicity is a concept which states that events are "meaningful coincidences" if they occur with no causal relationship, yet seem to be meaningfully related.

So much of The Police’s classic album Synchronicity was based on this theory and Wines That Rock took note as we created our Synchronicity Red Blend to be a very smooth, meaningful wine that crosses grape profiles that coincidently co-exist for a beautiful balance and elegant finish.

Just as The Police experimentally merged a range of sonic influences to re-emerge with their own ground-breaking sound, this wine's nuanced flavors create one dreamily complex whole. Floral, exotic, and meditative, aromas of rose petals and fresh crushed strawberries yield to flavors of red fruit jam, cranberries, and clove.
85% Grenache, 15% Syrah
Synchronicity Red Blend has always been a moving target because the music on the album and the history behind its making are diverse and involved. I have maintained though that it should have its roots in Southern Rhone with Grenache being the driving force. I have added two new vineyards of Grenache to our line-up which also includes Zinfandel, Carignane, Syrah and even the white grape Viognier to add complexity and structure. This is a wine I like to keep the oak at a minimum and features nearly all certified Organic and Biodynamic fruit.
Our great-tasting, world-class varietals are meant to be enjoyed—and shared! Just like a rock concert when 20,000 passionate fans get together and share 2 1/2 hours of magic or when you plug in your I-pod and listen to your favorite tunes, Wines That Rock is about a making a connection. So, pop the cork, turn up the tunes, and enjoy the taste of Wines That Rock!
