Juan - probably because if you're purchasing alcohol, you must be over 21 years of age. Providing your birthday indicates that you are legally allowed to buy this product.

So, was the wine good? I'm giving it a three for now because I'm answering a question and not actually reviewing it.

The wine is actually good. It needs to breath a little so don't just open, pour and drink. It's a medium blend of goodness that is definitely comparable to other blends. The tasting notes describe the wine very well. A little over priced but you end up with a cool bottle at the end.

Gave this to my sweet boyfriend for one of his big 5-0 birthday gifts because he's a Deadhead & I knew he would appreciate it(& he did) & it is very cool & the wine was very good...the only reason I don't give this a 5 star rating is because they only sent me 2 bottles of wine...when it clearly says it was to come w/ 3 bottles

It was very good for a blend. As "Undertaper" notes, its bet to let it breath about a minute in the bottle and and about 45 seconds after pouring in in a glass, then drinking it. 5 star: excellent 4 star: very good 3 star: average....

Opening a bottle of this is always a good time. Drove to Ohio to purchase the first time due to availability and now am able to order direct from PA state stores. Glad to learn about the "breathe" process. Had an empty bottle signed by David Gans a few months ago.
